Collection of images taken by photographer Oliver Eglin
Utilising both film and photography, London based photographer Oliver enjoys unearthing moments of the surreal in everyday scenes. His practice is characterised by an interest in the intersection between natural and urban spaces. Searching for traces of human presence within an evolving landscape, the work considers the imprint of culture on the surrounding environment. By contrasting the landscapes of ancient relics, with overlooked corners of contemporary cities and towns, the photographs speak of the way in which beauty survives in a natural realm increasingly encroached upon by the manmade.
